The Sport-Thieme Competition Javelin offers optimal support for throwers. The javelin is designed for maximum flight characteristics, even if the athletes' technique is not yet refined – it is a forgiving javelin. These competition javelins are constructed with a special focus on durability and long-term use. The body is made from multiple hardened special alloys with a steel tip and a securely fitted grip wrap. The Sport-Thieme Competition Javelin is produced according to the specifications of World Athletics, making it suitable for competitive use. As of April 1, 2025, World Athletics will introduce new 700 g javelins. For this reason, the requirements are changing, and some dimensions of the 700 g javelin have been modified so that it tips earlier and predominantly lands more upright. We already have the current version 2025 available for you.
