Otherwise, your pants will soak up water, which in turn will wet your socks and leave you with wet feet. Also, consider a good pair of socks like the ACT 100 Solognac for added comfort, as well as well-trimmed toenails, since they can damage the inside of the shoes and allow water to enter. Nothing is easier to care for than this boot. Simply wash the half shoe with soap and water, and do not use grease or cleaning agents. Apply the NIKWAX waterproofing spray to reactivate the water-repellent properties of the leather and fabric. To protect the individual components, do not dry the boots near a heat source.
