Just get a patch, scissors, and an iron, and you're all set! Coated fabric and sealed seams ensure high waterproofness. With a water column of 2,000 mm, the overtrousers are particularly waterproof. The resistance of a material to water pressure is expressed in mm water column (tested according to ISO 811 standards). The higher the pressure, the more impermeable the fabric. A material with a water impermeability of 2,000 mm can withstand the pressure of a water column of 2,000 mm – which is roughly equivalent to a downpour lasting two hours.
