The Silvan Arc Jet series will change your thinking about competition compasses. The compass features a new 2.0 needle, which is more stable and reliable. The new Arc Wing design provides added support and stability, and the compass includes a removable thumb plate that allows the user to choose whether to have direct contact between the thumb and the map. The package includes two different thumb straps (soft and firm), as well as scale stickers that can be affixed to the plate if desired.
Model S features a fixed needle housing.
There is a specific model for left and right-handed users. A magnifying glass is available as an accessory.
