The original formulation of the sealant, launched 2.5 years ago, was primarily developed for the effective sealing of tire punctures by maximizing the surface area of the liquid latex for improved performance. Professional racers appreciated the practical application as they frequently changed tires based on racing conditions and could simply refill with fresh sealant without needing to inject it through the valve. However, we heard two main concerns from casual riders: the sealant dried out quickly when not in use, and the composition of the longer carbon fiber strands made injection difficult and problematic, which could lead to a potentially messy installation if handled carelessly.
