Product details
Ankle protection for ski boots from Sidas in donut shape, size M. Injured ankles are particularly a fitting issue for men with ski boots. Men suffer more than women as they tend to have larger and more pronounced ankle bones. The problem usually affects the inner ankle, as it is the larger of the two ankles, sits higher on the leg, and most people tend to collapse inward with their weight on the foot. When only slight pressure is applied to the ankle, a donut adhered to the outside of the liner around the ankle helps reduce the pressure, as the bone is placed in the hole in the center of the donut.
They provide stability and more control. Protect against injuries and prevent fatigue.
Installation tips for the Sidas IPS Donut:
First, remove the liner from the ski boot by holding the top of the boot cuff with one hand from the back, then hold the top of the liner and push it forward; the liner should pop out easily. Place your foot in the liner and locate your inner ankle by pressing against it. Stick a donut on the outside of the liner so that your ankle bone sits in the hole in the center of the donut. Cut off any excess material towards the front of the ankle that could cause pressure points on the instep.
