Product details

The XTR CN-M981 10-speed chain is the evolution of the CN-M980. The new Shimano XTR CN-M981 chain features a special surface coating that makes it more efficient, requires less maintenance, and provides exceptionally quiet operation with optimal shifting performance. The XTR chain has hollow connecting pins, which reduces weight without compromising strength and stability. Due to the different inner and outer links, it is a direction-specific chain that ensures a further evolution of shifting performance. The specially shaped outer plates guarantee excellent dirt resistance.
