Two years after the presentation of the world's first electronic mountain bike shifting system, Shimano is now bringing this revolutionary technology to the Deore XT level. With the push of a button, and optionally with just one switch, gears can now be changed with extreme precision and speed even in the upper mid-range segment. When the trail suddenly becomes steep, the Deore XT drivetrain responds even faster and more intuitively to every rider command thanks to Di2 technology, even when hands are already aching from gripping the handlebars tightly. A light press of a button is all it takes to shift into a more efficient gear.

In combination with the Synchro-Shift technology, which automatically shifts the front derailleur based on the desired gear ratio and optimizes chain alignment, the optimal gear combination is always available, even when steep climbs, technically demanding descents, and adrenaline-fueled race sections alternate rapidly. Both the front derailleur and the rear derailleur of the Deore XT Di2 feature accurate and stable shifting, as mountain bikers are already familiar with from the XTR Di2.

The auto-trim function of the front derailleur ensures smooth operation, while the rear derailleur guarantees reliable shifting even under high loads during steep climbs or with a heavily soiled cassette. The actuators in the rear derailleur and front derailleur are twice as powerful as their counterparts in the road bike Di2 component series, ensuring high-precision shifting even under the most demanding conditions.
