Product details
The brake levers of the Shimano Ultegra R8020 series, in conjunction with Shimano's leading hydraulic disc brakes, provide enhanced control on mixed terrain. Reduced operating force during shifting and refined ergonomics are additional benefits.
Servowave Action
The Servowave brake lever initially takes up a significant amount of brake travel, allowing the pads to engage the brake disc with minimal lever movement. Once the brake pads make contact, the force translation factor increases rapidly. This means that a larger portion of the lever travel is still available to increase braking power and allow for more precise modulation.
Free Stroke
The distance from the lever's starting position to the contact point of the brake pads can be adjusted to fit the rider's hand size, riding style, and personal preferences.
