Product details

The left control unit SW-E8000-L is designed in the style of the Shimano Firebolt shifter and responds with a clear click when controlling the support modes of the Shimano Steps drive. The Firebolt design ensures an ergonomic shifting position while E-Mountain biking.

The new E-MTB switch for intuitive operation has an ergonomic position specifically developed for mountain biking. Instead of shifting to the small chainring on a steep climb, it is now sufficient to increase the support power with the same finger movement in this situation. Additionally, the Power Walk mode can also be activated via the Firebolt lever, allowing the bike to be easily pushed uphill even on very steep sections or stairs.

Features - Shimano Steps SW-E8000-L:

  • Comfortable gear shifting
  • Robust design
  • Intuitive layout
  • Pleasant actuation point
  • Control of the support levels of the drive unit and easy switching of the display
  • Left switch for the support mode
  • Firebolt switch for intuitive operation.
