Responsible for the highly precise yet ultra-smooth shifting with the new SLX are, among other things, the SL-M7000 shifters, which are equipped with the proven Rapidfire Plus technology and 2-Way-Release, ensuring consistent shifting performance with minimal effort. Rapidfire Plus is suitable for fast shifting, allowing the rider to downshift by up to three gears with a single shift stroke. Rapidfire Plus shifters feature 2-Way-Release, meaning the shift cable is released by pulling with the index finger or pressing with the thumb.
