The SLX derailleurs of the M7100 series offer excellent shifting performance with less tension in the lower gears and a damper on the cage. The larger 13Z jockey wheels provide greater efficiency and better chain management, while compatibility with Shimano's new 12-speed cassette significantly increases the range. Shimano Shadow RD+ ensures a quiet drivetrain and less distraction. The derailleur stabilizer reduces chain slap and offers a simple solution to prevent chain drop. It is lighter and more efficient than chain devices with rollers.
