The SLX FC-M7120-1 crank is completely redesigned and features direct-mount chainrings, special tooth profiles for better chain retention, and a Q-factor of 178 mm. Shimano Dynamic Chain Engagement is a special tooth profile for single chainrings in the application areas of XC, enduro, and trail. It improves the retention and guidance of the chain and facilitates pedaling even in rough terrain. The improved chain guide in each gear reduces abrasion and wear.
