Thus, the new M7000 brakes of the SLX also follow the "Rider Tuned" principle, allowing optimal adjustment to the terrain, riding style, or personal preferences of the rider. High braking power with low operating forces is the result, thanks in part to the ergonomic Servo-Wave brake levers.

The I-Spec II mounting system ensures a tidy appearance with its narrow clamp, reduced weight, and more space on the handlebars. The Servo-Wave brake lever takes up a lot of brake travel at the beginning of its movement, allowing the pads to be guided to the brake disc with minimal lever movement. After the brake pad engages, the force transmission factor increases rapidly. The larger portion of the lever travel is still available to increase braking force and dose it more precisely.
