Shimano SL-M315 Rapidfire Plus
Product details
The Shimano SL-M315 Rapidfire shifter is designed for quick gear changes. The rider can downshift by up to three gears with a single lever stroke – perfect for mountain bikers seeking reliable shifting performance.
Optislick cables feature a minimal, uniform galvanic coating that allows for more efficient cable routing and offers excellent corrosion resistance.
Rapidfire Plus has been used by mountain bikers since 1985 and remains the top choice for various rider groups, from XC racers to freeriders and downhillers. Rapidfire Plus is suitable for fast shifting, allowing the rider to downshift by up to three gears with one lever stroke. All Rapidfire Plus shifters, from Shimano Deore to XTR, are equipped with 2-Way Release, meaning the shift cable can be released by pulling with the index finger or pushing with the thumb.
The Optical Gear Display shows the rider the current gear. The rider can see how many gears are available to shift up or down, allowing for more conscious shifting.
