The Shimano Ultread GE rubber compound is optimised for enduro use, and the special tread pattern ensures reliable pedalling and walking characteristics. The Torbal 2.0 torsion midsole offers flexibility on the outsides for excellent control on steep descents and corners. A revised pedal channel runs from heel to toe for outstanding SPD stability when unclipped. The multi-layered, sponge-like EVA foam material absorbs shocks and improves the flexibility of the sole for more stability on descents. The robust toe cap offers additional toe protection.
