Model year: 2022. The Shimano K05S-RX Resin Disc Pads are the successors to the well-known Shimano K03S and are suitable for a variety of applications. Compared to the previous models, wear resistance has been significantly improved without compromising braking performance. These organic brake pads offer excellent modulation and braking power, as their soft compound adheres quickly. Additionally, these pads produce very little noise during use. However, it should be noted that these pads do not perform as well under high temperatures or muddy conditions, resulting in faster wear compared to hard compound brake pads. Therefore, if you primarily use your bike in the summer and on flat terrain, the Shimano K05S-RX Resin Disc Pad is the perfect choice for you.
