Product details

OEM pack 1 pair - The package is without cardboard box. Shimano disc brake pads with cooling fins for MTB or road bike in a pack of 25. Fading of the brakes after prolonged and continuous use, for example when downhill, impairs braking performance. Shimano has introduced brake discs and pads with Ice Technologies to create a cooling technology for consistently high braking performance. The brake disc has a three-layer sandwich structure made of stainless steel on the outside around an aluminium core. It radiates heat better and, for example, reduces the surface temperature from 400˚C to 300˚C. There is also a cooling fin on the brake pad. The construction of the disc in connection with the cooling fins results in a longer pad life, less braking noise, less fading and a lower weight. Type: Disc brake pads Brake pad material: Resin (organic) Material information: Backing plate: Plastic. Compatibility: XTR, Deore XT, SLX, SLX, Alfine.
