Shimano Ice-Tech J02A Resin disc brake pads with cooling fins J02A Resin 25 pairs
Shimano, Organic (Resin)Product details
Ice Technology - Cooling technology for consistent performance. Shimano has introduced Ice-Tech brake discs and pads to achieve optimal cooling technology for consistent performance. The brake discs dissipate heat better due to the three-layer sandwich structure with an aluminum core embedded in stainless steel. This reduces the surface temperature by 100 °C. Additionally, the pads feature cooling fins. The result of the lower temperature is less noise, less fading, and less wear on the pads.
Ice-Tech pads are available in plastic or metal compounds. The optional pads with cooling fins and a two-layer backing plate (aluminum cooling fins and stainless steel) improve heat dissipation. The cooling fins increase the lifespan of the brake pad and reduce the risk of fading.
Plastic brake pads are quieter than sintered metal pads, and the braking effect is easier to modulate.
