Gravel bikes are becoming increasingly popular among cyclists. The advantages are clear: they have a more comfortable geometry than road bikes, perform excellently off paved paths, and are suitable for longer journeys. However, conventional road bike components reach their limits with these bikes. Therefore, Shimano has developed specific groupsets for this category.

The gravel crank for the 1x fans comes in an elegant design and features Shimano's typical excellent craftsmanship. The chainline of 51.1 mm provides space for wide tires in the frame and positions the chainring optimally to the 11-speed cassette. Nevertheless, the Q-factor remains in the green zone at 151 mm. With the gearing range of 11-40 or 11-42 teeth, you can gain speed on flat terrain while also easily climbing steeper inclines.
