Product details

The Shimano XT CS-M8000 cassette is part of the latest 2016 XT generation. The 11-speed drive, previously reserved for the top group XTR, is now also available for the more affordable yet functionally similar Deore XT. Unlike competitors, Shimano riders do not need a new freewheel body for their rear hub; they can mount the Shimano 11-speed cassette on their regular 10-speed freewheels. With the appropriate 11-speed gearshift lever and 11-speed chain, you can upgrade your bike to the latest gearshift standard with manageable effort. The Shimano Deore XT CS-M8000 cassette is also ideally suited for 1x11 drives thanks to the wide range from 11 teeth to 40/42 teeth.
