Shimano Bt-E8020

The BT-E8020 battery is specifically designed for the Shimano Steps system and integrates seamlessly into the down tube. It has a capacity of 504 Wh and features a special MTB design with a flat profile. The battery is waterproof as well as impact and vibration resistant. It provides consistent charging performance and is compatible with the chargers EC-E6002 and EC-E8004, as well as the battery holder BM-E8020. In normal mode, it allows for a longer riding distance of up to 100 km with the models DU-E6001/E6010. The internal design enables charging in 4 hours, and the lifespan is approximately 1000 full charge cycles without significant loss of performance. The only necessary maintenance is to clean and grease the battery and terminal poles (pole grease, technical vaseline, silicone-free).
