The Shimano SM-BBMT500-PA Press-Fit bottom bracket, known for its reliable Shimano quality, is a well-sealed bearing offered at an affordable price. It fits all road and mountain bike frames with a Press-Fit standard of 89.5 mm or 92x41 mm at the bottom bracket shell, thanks to the included spacers, and can be combined with all common Shimano Hollowtech II cranksets with a 24 mm axle. The SM-BBMT500-PA adapter is simply pressed into the bottom bracket shell without threads. For this, it is recommended to use the pressing tool developed by Shimano for this purpose.
