Product details
The Shimano Altus SL-M2010 Rapidfire shifter is designed for quick gear changes. The rider can downshift by up to three gears with a single shift action, making it perfect for mountain bikers who desire reliable shifting performance.
Rapidfire Plus has been used by mountain bikers since 1985 and remains the top choice for various rider groups, from XC racers to freeriders and downhillers. It allows for fast shifting, enabling the rider to downshift by up to three gears with one action. All Rapidfire Plus shifters, from Shimano Deore to XTR, feature 2-Way-Release, which means the shift cable can be released by pulling with the index finger or pressing with the thumb.
The Optical Gear Display shows the rider the currently engaged gear. The rider can see how many gears are still available for shifting up or down, allowing for more conscious shifting.
Optislick cables are equipped with a minimal, uniform galvanic coating that enables more efficient cable routing and offers excellent corrosion resistance.
