It replaces the previous PaceStar compound - not the only difference, but a significant one in intensive use: more mileage and longer lifespan.

SnakeSkin - one of the most effective innovations that Schwalbe has developed for bikes. A tire only becomes about 40-50 g heavier with the SnakeSkin fabric. This provides excellent protection against contact with sharp edges that can quickly slice through the sidewall of lightweight racing tires.
