The Schwalbe Tube No.20 Extra Light is suitable for 28" (or 27" – 630) tires with a width of 18-25 mm and is used in racing bikes, lightweight cross, and trekking bikes. The Extra-Light provides the usual quality and reliability of the standard tube while reducing weight. Due to their excellent manufacturing, Schwalbe tubes have proven themselves in the market for years. They have a consistent wall thickness and are round in shape. Their precise construction makes them durable at the seam. A comparative test showed that the Schwalbe tube maintains air pressure significantly longer than other tubes. One possible reason for this could be a lower butyl content in the other tubes. The special quality of Schwalbe tubes arises from the uniqueness of their rubber compound. To ensure this high quality, each individual Schwalbe tube is inflated and tested for at least 24 hours before leaving the factory.
