The Rapid GTX by Scarpa in the men's version focuses entirely on lightness and speed on mountainous paths and during approaches. The synthetic upper is equipped with a thermoplastic polyurethane film and, thanks to the GORE-TEX membrane, is waterproof without sacrificing breathability. The EVA midsole provides the right cushioning on the trail, while the TPU insert offers stability and torsion control, making the Rapid GTX a great approach shoe, complemented by the climbing zone of the Vibram sole. With the Rapid GTX, you're so fast that even the wind can't keep up with you!.
