Sintered Metal is a high-performance replacement lining for motorcycles equipped with sintered HS brake pads. This lining has been specifically designed for sporty riding to withstand the high stresses caused by the weight of large displacement machines. The HS lining does not damage the brake disc, its performance remains stable in both dry and wet conditions, and it does not require thermal bedding. It is recommended for newer models of sport, GT, and high-performance custom motorcycles that come factory-equipped with sintered pads. Examples include Honda CBR and VT, Kawasaki ZX and VN, Suzuki GSX-R and VL, Yamaha YZF and XV, as well as Harley Davidson. The LS lining made of sintered metal for the rear brake is characterized by its high thermal stability. In conjunction with the HS lining for the front brake, it provides the necessary and expected braking force. In line with the concept of the original sintered metal pads, its friction level is matched to the friction characteristics of the HF lining to prevent excessive braking of the rear wheel.
