The Salomon XA Forces Jungle in Earth Brown is a very lightweight tactical boot designed for operations in the toughest conditions, such as in the jungle. Insights from the predecessor model, combined with the XA Forces line, have resulted in this modern, quick-drying, and athletic operational boot. The primary function of the upper shoe is to minimize heat and moisture in such harsh conditions. Therefore, the upper is made from thin, durable, and quick-drying mesh material as well as coated PU leather. To accelerate the drainage and drying process, drainage holes and perforated padding have been incorporated. The 8-inch (20.32 cm) high shaft is very flexible and protects the foot from penetrating dirt. The SensiFit system wraps around the foot from the midsole to the classic lacing system, ensuring a secure, snug, and almost custom fit. The 3D rubber toe cap protects the foot from impacts and makes use in rough terrain very comfortable. On the inside, the shoe is reinforced with additional material to support climbing and rapid descents. In operations, the performance and stability of the sole construction are crucial. With the combination of the Contagrip MA outsole, the 3D Advanced Chassis, and the puncture-resistant Enigma Zero HT2 insole, all product requirements are met at the highest level. The OrthoLite insole provides a comfortable fit and additional cushioning, while the perforations in the sole support foot climate.
