Legendary trail running shoe with a rough profile. The Salomon Speedcross 6 GORE-TEX is a trail running veteran, now in its sixth version. It is a shoe for demanding trail running on almost all surfaces, especially on wet and soft trails.

Upper: The shoe is excellently made and offers reliable protection against scree and sharp rocks. The tongue is completely welded to the upper material, avoiding seams and reducing the risk of chafing. Thanks to the integrated GORE-TEX membrane, the shoes are also waterproof.

Quick lacing: Salomon relies on the tried-and-tested Quicklace lacing system, which is very easy to use and ensures a secure and comfortable fit. There are lace pockets on the outside where the Quicklace can be safely stowed away.

Midsole: The midsole offers soft, gentle cushioning without compromising on power transmission and responsiveness. The 10 mm difference in height between the heel and forefoot area is designed for long distances, with a heel height of 33 mm.

Outsole: The chunky sole with 5 mm deep V studs is the trademark of the Speedcross. The sixth version also impresses with excellent grip, especially on wet and soft surfaces. However, the shoe is less suitable for very hard, dry trails.

Fit: The Speedcross 6 GORE-TEX offers very good heel support and has a medium-width forefoot area. It also has an Ortholite insole and soft padding, ensuring a secure hold even on technically demanding trails while providing the necessary comfort for long distances.
