The Speed Assault 2 GTX can be described in a few words: extremely lightweight, exceptionally fast, and highly flexible for off-road use. Whether in desert conditions, jungle training camps, or swampy terrain, the Speed Assault 2 GTX in Earth Brown feels comfortable in all situations with its weight of just 330 grams. The new and revised version of this speed machine focuses on an optimized fit in the upper foot area and design aspects.

The shoe's low weight is achieved through technologies used in Salomon's trail running shoes, emphasizing performance, durability, flexibility, and agility. The upper material is a mix of ripstop fabric, anti-distress mesh, and TPU materials. The underlying GORE-TEX® membrane makes the shoe an ideal companion in any weather.

The welded SensiFit™ system wraps the foot from the midsole to the Quicklace™ lacing system, ensuring a secure, precise, and almost customized fit. The EnergyCell material provides optimal cushioning and performance in the sole construction. The compressed EVA cushioning material offers improved shock absorption combined with higher rebound, while the Contagrip® TA outsole with chevron lugs ensures optimal grip on various surfaces. An OrthoLite® insole provides a comfortable fit and additional cushioning in the shoe, while perforations in the sole support a pleasant foot climate.
