Product details
Technical trail running shoes for mountain runs. The Salomon Genesis are trail running shoes specifically designed for the demands of technically challenging mountain running. They provide stable support and good protection against debris. With these running shoes, you can conquer any ascent.
Durable upper material. The upper is extremely robust and designed for high stress. At the same time, it offers good breathability. This keeps your feet protected from stones while ensuring they remain well-ventilated.
Midsole with moderate cushioning. The lightweight energyFoam midsole provides medium cushioning and a springy running feel. Ideal for maintaining control on technically demanding trails without sacrificing comfort. The heel measures 34 mm in height, while the forefoot area is 26 mm. Consequently, the Genesis has an 8 mm drop.
Grippy outsole. The tread is excellent for alpine trails. The outsole is made of durable, highly grippy All-Terrain Contagrip rubber and features 4.5 mm deep lugs. This allows you to tackle any ascent or descent with ease.
Supportive fit. The shoes have a standard fit. They are neither particularly wide nor particularly narrow. Additionally, the insole is designed to provide good support within the shoe.
Conclusion. The Salomon Genesis are perfect for your training runs in the mountains. They offer good protection and support in technically challenging terrain.
