The long-sleeve baselayer Zebru is designed to wick moisture away during intense physical exertion in colder conditions, dry quickly, and enhance temperature regulation. This makes it the ideal choice for mountain activities. Its name refers to a mountain in the Ortler Alps, Monte Zebrù. It is made in Italy, and the main component of its material is fine merino wool, which ensures optimal warmth and moisture management while feeling comfortable against the skin.
Infrared Material Technology
In a body-mapping design, we have combined the merino wool-polyester blend with special responsive polyamide yarns that contain a unique mix of natural thermoreactive minerals. Responsive absorbs the body's far-infrared radiation (FIR) and gradually releases it back to the muscle tissue. This enhances circulation, cellular performance, and oxygen supply, allowing you to stay warmer for longer, perform better, and recover faster. Good to know: The responsive technology is a permanent material component – the minerals do not wash out.
The Zebru is very soft and has a close-fitting athletic cut. Thanks to the polyamide content, it is particularly durable and retains its shape. Our advanced circular knitting process means the entire upper body is made from a single piece – providing more comfort without rubbing seams. Additionally, merino wool naturally prevents odor formation.
