Salewa Wildfire Leather Gore-Tex® Shoe

Our Wildfire Leather Gore-Tex shoe is a versatile and well-supporting shoe for everyday use and much more. The snug, foot-hugging fit with reinforcement from robust Kevlar wires offers plenty of mobility while providing firm support in the ankle and heel areas, making the shoe suitable for light ascents, technical climbing sections, and even simple alpine climbing. Its waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane and the elastic insert on the tongue provide excellent protection against rapidly changing mountain weather.

The high-quality, durable yet soft upper made of 1.4 mm thick suede is protected by a 360° polyurethane rand. The Pomoca Speed MTN Path outsole offers excellent grip and secure hold for good traction even on soft terrain. The S-Path technology supports the natural rolling motion of the foot, and the climbing-specific toe design ensures good grip on flat rock and smaller ledges or edges.

The adjustable climbing lacing system further enhances the precise fit of the shoe. Inside, a breathable OrthoLite insole provides good comfort and quickly wicks away moisture to keep feet pleasantly dry.
