Our hybrid Vento Jacket is made from a lightweight 160-gram blend of merino wool and Tencel™ lyocell fibers. The fine AlpineWool® merino wool, sourced from mountain sheep, is soft and, like the Tencel™ fiber, has odor-neutralizing properties. The natural fiber Tencel™ lyocell is produced in an environmentally friendly process from the renewable raw material wood. Its smooth fiber surface offers high evaporation properties, resulting in excellent moisture management. For added durability and longevity, the merino wool blend is reinforced with polyamide fibers.

The wind jacket is designed using a body mapping principle, where different materials are positioned at various body areas to achieve optimal functionality. The front features a wind-resistant yet breathable nylon-Tencel™ insert that fits well and does not flap even at high biking speeds. The wind jacket comes in a sporty fit and has a longer back specifically designed for the demands of bike tours. The sleeves are tailored and extra long to ensure that the wrists remain well protected while biking.

Features such as the stylish contrasting zip pocket at the back, the full-length front zipper, and the high collar that protects against drafts make the wind jacket an ideal companion for any bike, gravel, or bike-to-climb tours. For additional visibility, the wind jacket is equipped with coral-red neon reflective stripes that reflect car headlights in the dark.
