Alpine mixed routes on rock, ice, and snow are some of the most demanding endeavors in mountain sports, whether in the Dolomites or in the remotest corners of the world. During such activities, we need to fully rely on our clothing to keep our bodies ideally protected during fluctuating indoor and outdoor temperatures.

This revised model of our established Ortles Hybrid TirolWool® Responsive jacket impresses with its proven hybrid body mapping structure. Durastretch inserts are used on the back and sides, which are particularly comfortable to wear thanks to the wool content (22 percent) and ensure freedom of movement due to the elastane. There are also strategically placed insulation areas made from TirolWool® Responsive, which ensure excellent thermoregulation of the body and can keep you warm even when wet.

The TirolWool® Responsive material is made from valuable wool from Tyrolean mountain sheep, and the insulation material is finished with Responsive yarns. The yarns contain thermoreactive minerals that recycle the far infrared energy emitted by the body and slowly release it again, creating lasting warmth. If it gets stormy or really cold, the close-fitting, insulated hood, which can be adjusted at the back, offers additional weather protection. If the temperature or intensity rises, the jacket can be quickly stowed away in its own pocket.

As part of the Salewa Committed collection, the jacket has a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. In addition, the Durastretch material consists of 22 percent fine merino wool, which guarantees pleasant wearing comfort on the skin.
