Its 3-layer laminate made from Powertex offers an excellent combination of performance, weight, and durability. Not only is it extremely waterproof (water column: 20,000 mm), but it also boasts excellent breathability (20,000 g/m²/24h) – ensuring that moisture is transported away from the body and that the pants provide a pleasant, cozy wearing climate. The sporty cut features a breathable, high-waisted waistband with elastic inserts at the back and ergonomically pre-shaped knees. The snug lower leg and silicone grippers ensure a good fit over mountaineering and ski boots, minimizing the risk of crampons getting caught in the pant leg, while the hooks at the hem prevent snow from entering.

These pants have a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating and are a Salewa Committed product, manufactured according to additional, strict, and independently verified environmental and social standards.
