The Alp Trainer 2 is a progressive hiking shoe with a mid-height shaft, made from robust, high-quality suede and stretch upper material, as well as a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining that reliably protects you on various terrains and in changing conditions. A generous rubber rand provides additional protection against rock edges and debris. The shoe offers a precise fit, securely enveloping your foot, providing support, and is comfortable right from the first wear. SALEWA's own patented 3F System includes a steel cable that ensures firm ankle support and lateral stability, while the Flex Collar allows for more freedom of movement at the ankle and enhances comfort during descents. Additionally, with the customizable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+), you can choose between different insoles to adjust the shoe volume to your needs. The climbing shoe lacing system also allows for individual tightening all the way to the toes for better performance on technical terrain. The optimized Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, exclusively offered by SALEWA®, enhances performance and control on a wide range of mountainous terrains. Its specialized climbing, grip, and braking zones, along with the aggressive lug design, excel even in wet and muddy conditions.
