For this reason, Rudy Project employs the proven In Mold technology, which involves directly injecting protective polystyrene (EPS) into the polycarbonate shell to create a significantly firmer, shock-resistant, and lightweight structure. The combination of EPS, the polycarbonate shell, and the exoskeleton provides optimal protection against mechanical impacts from falls by effectively distributing energy across the structure, thereby safeguarding the helmet wearer from the effects of a fall.
