With a lightweight design, unique walking mode with low resistance, and a wide opening angle, the Rottefella Freedom offers the optimal combination for climbing to the top. Our NTN system has revolutionized free-heel skiing, and with the Freedom, our binding range has been further completed. The Rottefella Freedom is lighter than a traditional telemark binding, weighing less than 1500 g per pair. The very low resistance in walk mode is combined with a large angle of 60°, making it easier than ever to ascend the most beautiful peaks. Additionally, the new binding features two climbing aids, 35 mm and 65 mm. The brakes and release mechanism function the same as in freeride. The Freedom provides progressive resistance and is the perfect choice for anyone skiing in airy powder as well as in all possible conditions, on or off the piste.
