Product details

The UBB 4630 for the BBRight standard, made of steel, is the latest member of the UBB family (Universal Bottom Bracket). It uses a threaded sleeve to connect both bearing cups, which reduces the stresses typically exerted on press-fit sleeves. This connection compensates for dimensional tolerances in the bottom bracket housing, leading to better parallelism of the bearings and, consequently, smoother crank movement with less noise generation. The external bearing cups also increase stiffness. The improved fit of the bearing/sleeve unit protects the bearings from overload and enhances their durability. Additionally, the inner sleeve protects against cable damage or damage to electronics, as there is no friction with rotating parts. The bearing is only compatible with ROTOR cranks.
