The MTB Click Pedals 520 SPD are perfect for beginners due to their unbeatable price-performance ratio. The pedal pair comes with a set of ROCKRIDER cleats (compatible with Shimano SPD) and screws. Axle: chrome steel, body: aluminum, chassis: aluminum, bearings: ball bearings.

If you're still learning to use clipless pedals, it's definitely a good idea to start with some "dry runs." Also, ride with foresight and anticipate every stop where your feet will be on the ground (traffic light, stop sign, obstacle...). If you're still unsure, you can also look into platform adapters that you can attach for technically challenging sections.

The tension (release force) of the SPD binding can be individually adjusted. To mount the pedals, you will need a 15 mm wrench or a 6 mm hex key. Pay attention to the screw direction for each pedal: right is clockwise, left is counterclockwise. The pedal thread has the standard size of 9/16 inches and is compatible with all common MTBs, trekking, city, and racing bikes, as well as indoor bikes.

The MTB 520 pedals are compatible with all shoes that work with the SPD-compatible cleats from ROCKRIDER. We recommend shoes such as the MTB ST 100, ST 500, XC 100, or XC 500.
