In the lab, we measure the tire's resistance to punctures. The perforation elements are shaped to represent thorns, glass shards, etc., as you might encounter on the road or in the terrain. Depending on the resistance, each tire receives a rating from 1 to 5 out of 5. The most durable tires on the market achieve a score of 5/5.

This RoadProtect+ trekking tire is equipped with dual puncture protection: 1. The first protective layer consists of a 3 mm thick layer of high-density rubber located under the tread. 2. The second protective layer is made of polyamide and is placed under the first protective layer. This combination of rubber and polyamide layers offers excellent durability. We have tested the puncture safety in the lab, and it received a rating of 5/5.
