Product details

The Chain Damper from Rimpact is an innovative chainring designed to effectively capture chain energy and provide a smooth, silent riding experience. By controlling chain energy during movement, the Chain Damper reduces drivetrain feedback and enhances performance. This product offers an almost chainless experience, benefiting both recreational and performance-oriented cyclists. The Chain Damper is compatible with various chainring sizes from 30 to 36 teeth and supports a range of crank mounts, including Shimano Direct Mount and SRAM options. Its design is made to be compatible with various chain guides and bash guards available on the market, allowing for high flexibility in installation. Weighing only 240 g, including the chainring, the Chain Damper is a lightweight addition to any bike that still provides a significant performance boost.

  • Reduces drivetrain feedback for a smoother riding experience
  • Compatible with 11 and 12-speed chains as well as T-Type transmission chains
  • Easy maintenance with recommended cleaning and lubrication when noises or negative sensations occur
  • Allows the use of Boost and DH chainlines with a measurement of 53.5 mm
  • Includes replacement elastomers for extended lifespan.
