The new Reverse Base in the World Cup Edition does not offer the usual 9° back sweep but comes with a back sweep of 7°. Thanks to the low back sweep, you save a lot of power on longer descents, because the center of gravity of the handlebars is rather "front-heavy". All reverse handlebars and stems are tested according to the EFBE- Standard MTB-G. The "G" stands for Gravity. The components are tested in a three-phase test.1. 100,000 cycles each in phase opposition and in phase opposition.2. maximum load test within the scope of the intended use.3. overload test which are beyond the intended use in order to simulate a foreseeable misuse or accidental damage.Especially with lightweight construction and carbon elements these maximum and overload tests are very important.
