At the rear, on the other hand, there's a robust 21 mm rim that absorbs bumps and nasty rock edges with a relaxed smile. What both wheels have in common is the Anvil Edge Flange, which protects your tyres from punctures. But that's not all: with 28 cranked spokes at the front (for the perfect balance between stability and ease of maintenance) and 32 spokes at the rear, fitted with brass nipples, you get ultimate braking and driving power. At the rear, a steel axle sits in the hub, combined with a top-sealed 3° engagement pawl system - so you'll stay smooth even in the toughest conditions. And yes, if you really want to brake, you can fit a six-hole brake disc. The Turbine eMTB wheelset is available in 29'' and 27.5'' sizes and is compatible with all modern bodies and hub installation widths. With an inner rim width of 30 mm, Race Face recommends tyres with a width between 2.20 and 2.60 inches. Maximum weight? Up to 150 kg - more than enough for you and your E-MTB.
