The cup is leak-proof and does not have to stand upright - provided it has been closed properly ;-) I am happy with the cup - as I am with the clima bottles. Easy to clean and really leak-proof.

That's a half-smart question, because a latte macchiato doesn't have a standard amount... But yes, if your latte macchiato doesn't need more than about 3dl of space, then it fits in there ;)
