Answer the call of nature without exceeding your budget. These shoes are waterproof and protect against unexpected weather changes on hiking trails.
- Remove mud: Use a stiff brush to remove mud.
- Treat stains: Brush with lukewarm water.
- Dry: Allow to air dry completely.
- Re-waterproof: Spray with a water-repellent impregnation solution.
Waterproof shoes are less breathable than non-treated shoes. Therefore, the MH500 and MH520 socks with high or mid-height shafts are preferable to wick away moisture and reduce friction inside the shoe.
Our shoes undergo intensive laboratory testing to guarantee their waterproofness. They are submerged in water up to a certain height and bent to simulate hiking conditions. This test proves that your feet will stay dry for at least 2 hours in rainy hiking conditions.
The sole design was developed in our labs and consists of a unique rubber blend for optimal grip and traction. Ideal for soft forest floors and sandy coastal paths; however, wearing them on the road may accelerate wear and feel less comfortable. Not suitable for high mountains.
When hiking in the forest, by the coast, or in everyday life, your feet are subjected to various stresses. Friction in the shoes can be uncomfortable when combined with perspiration, and additional cold makes it particularly uncomfortable.
To prevent blisters, wear well-fitting, tightly laced shoes with appropriate socks; and adjust the lacing again before ascending and descending. To break in new shoes, start with short hiking distances.
