The Pride Matrix hubs represent the high-end offering from the Pride Racing brand, designed to deliver top-notch performance and maximum responsiveness on the track. They were developed with the primary goal of providing near-instant engagement without compromising weight. The Matrix features an innovative engagement system that guarantees almost immediate power transfer, making it ideal for explosive starts or technical accelerations. The core of this system is based on two rows of 6 pawls, totaling 12 pawls, that work alternately. This mechanism allows for up to 216 engagement points, with an ultra-reduced angle of 1.67°, ensuring nearly instant reaction with every pedal stroke.

To address one of the most common issues in BMX—the interference between the brake caliper and the spokes—the rear hub has also been optimized for 120 mm rotors, providing better spacing between the spokes and the caliper.
