The NFC chip can be easily read by holding an NFC-enabled smartphone over the helmet. It can instantly provide rescuers with the information they need at the scene of an accident, helping them to make informed treatment decisions in the crucial "first hour" immediately after an accident. Inclined protection is necessary to counteract the forces of non-linear impacts, which are a common cause of head injuries. SPIN (Shearing Pad INside) pads are integrated into the helmet and add an extra layer of oblique impact protection.
